The City Commission, at its meeting of Thursday, August 1, 2013, authorized the preparation and advertisement of this Ordinance. The Ordinance amends the Consolidated Police Officers and Firefighters Retirement Plan for federal tax compliance purposes and to comply with recent amendments to Chapters 175 and 185, Florida Statutes (SB 538).
This ordinance requires two public hearings. If adopted on first reading, second and final reading of the ordinance is scheduled for Thursday, September 19, 2013.
