This item requests the Committee to discuss options for participating in a deeper dive into the Committee’s big ideas.

Explanation

During the second workshop, held on March 14^th, the Committee requested staff to propose options and dates for participating in a deeper dive into the Committee’s big ideas with the aim of preparing detailed and refined recommendations to the City Commission in early May.

Per this request, staff worked with Chair Kaplan to develop the following options for the Committee’s consideration:

Option 1 - One additional 4-6 hour retreat in mid-April.

Option 2 - Add 1-2 more hours to each future workshop.

Option 3 - Maintain current schedule.

Option 4 - Develop and adopt an alternative option or idea.
