This item requests the Committee participate in a workshop to continue assessing and prioritizing the community’s big ideas to support implementing the Strategic Plan Framework.
Explanation
On December 15th, 2016, the City Commission adopted the strategic plan framework, a lasting blueprint to guide us towards our best Gainesville, a New American City.
The framework identifies four guiding questions to solving our city’s greatest challenges.
The sixth workshop of the Citizen Committee for Implementing the Strategic Framework will focus on identifying big ideas that could support answering the guiding questions, “How might we plan for a better future?” and “How might we be a community model?”
