Explanation

At the joint City and County Commission meeting on December 10, 2018, the City Commission heard a presentation on an 11 point motion which directed City staff to work with the County staff, Alachua County Housing Authority, Gainesville Housing Authority and the Alachua County Coalition for the Homeless and Hungry to complete a report on approaches to reduce homelessness in Alachua County. At this meeting, the City and the County Commissions approved a 6 point motion, a copy of which is attached to the file.
