Explanation

Wild Spaces, Public Places (WSPP) funding has been set aside for renovation of the Hartman House at the Hogtown Creek Headwaters park. Once completed, the renovated building will serve as a nature center for park visitors. Nature Operations Manager Linda Demetropoulos would like to explore with the Trust various project options and discuss the process with the Trust.

Fiscal Note

WSPP is funding $400,000 for the renovation project, with 1% of the funding reserved for a new APPT project budgeted at $4,000.

Recommendation:

The Trust discuss possible project options and provide recommendations regarding the 1% funding for this project.
