explanation

The City Commission, at its meeting of June 17, 2021, directed the City Attorney's Office to draft this resolution for adoption.  This resolution indicates the City's intent to participate in the unified state-wide settlement ("the Florida Plan") of pending opioid litigation.

This resolution directs city staff, upon receipt of the final Florida Plan, to agenda that matter for final consideration by the City Commission.
