Explanation

The Police Advisory Council requested updates to the current Public Information Officer General Order that discussed how images of victims of crime are to be distributed to the public.  The council had concerned of the use of driver license images, mugshots, etc. of victims of crimes.  The council the general order be re-reviewed and updated at the next scheduled meeting of what actions have been done to the policy.

Recommendation:

 For the Council to hear Assistant Chief Lonnie Scott review the updated verbiage in the section of the general order which addresses information and image distribution of victims of crimes.
