Recommendation:

In response to Trustee Giles upcoming retirement and vacating his seat on the Board of Trustees, the City's Risk Management Department organized an election to nominate a new Board Member.  Sergeant Leah Hayes was nominated and voted to be appointed to serve the remainder of the term as the Police Department Representative on the Board of Trustees.  Sergeant Hayes' term will begin January 1, 2022 and is scheduled to expire July 31, 2022.
