Explanation
The subject petitions request to amend the land use and zoning of the subject property to Planned Use District (PUD) and Planned Development (PD).
The City Commission held a public hearing on these two requests on April 28, 2021. At that meeting, they voted to approve the request with several changes.
On November 1, 2021, the City Commission again held a public hearing on the land-use change request and voted to schedule a workshop with Commissioners, community members, and the developers/applicants to find out what they support. This workshop has been scheduled based on this request.
Staff has provided a matrix comparing the existing zoning allowances with the two proposals heard by the Commission for reference and discussion.
