Performance Tracking of City Services (NB)
Explanation
On March 17, 2022, the City Commission unanimously approved a motion to hold two Strategic Planning Workshops. The workshops occurred on March 31, 2022 and April 19, 2022. During these Strategic Planning Workshops, the City Commission and Charter Officers reviewed progress on the previous year’s strategic goals, as well as refined and prioritized Action Items for 2022-2023.
During the March 31, 2022 workshop, the Commission expressed interest in improving our internal and external communications regarding how the City is performing on operational services. Staff were directed to hold a workshop with the City Commission to share about the mechanisms currently in place for performance tracking, as well as process improvement being established to improve data collection and communications. This workshop is being held in response to that direction.
