Explanation
Alachua County provides solid waste disposal services to the City of Gainesville through the Leveda Brown Transfer Station. As per the City’s Solid Waste Collection Agreement, the City pays for the disposal of solid waste collected by the City’s curbside collection contractor expenditures of up to $1,400,000 in tipping fees.

Recommendation
The City Commission approve the Solid Waste Collection Agreement for expenditures up to $1,400,000 in tipping fees with Alachua County for solid waste disposal.
