Legal Orientation for Utility Advisory Board

 

Explanation

Several new members have been appointed to the UAB this year and while they have been given basic information, they have not had an official orientation by the City’s legal department in order to be fully informed about Florida’s Sunshine Law and Code of Ethics.  Staff from the City Attorney’s office will provide that information and answer any questions new board members may have.  This will also serve as a refresher course for longer-term members.

Recommendation:

The UAB hear a presentation from the Assistant City Attorney.
