Explanation
An on-site job audit of the Cultural Building Supervisor, CWA pay grade 15 ($28,005 to $36,745), determined that the job responsibilities and level of independent judgment on all aspects of personnel and assigned projects, and management and promotion of multiple facility sites has increased. Additionally, it was determined a shifting has occurred from emphasis on facilities maintenance to emphasis on marketing programs, revenue generation, policy development, and customer service.
Fiscal Note
Due to the position upgrade an increase of 5% will be made resulting in a fiscal impact of $2,200, annualized with benefits. Office of Management & Budget concurs with this assessment.
Recommendation
The Personnel and Organizational Structure Committee recommends the City Commission approve title change to Facilities Coordinator and upgrade of the job to CWA pay grade 18 ($32,477 to $42,613).
