Amendment to Personnel Policies (B)
Explanation
Policies 8, Sick Leave; 9, Vacation or Annual Leave; 10, Holidays; 14, Worker's Compensation; 13, Leave Without Pay; 29, Leave Bank; and 32, Parental Leave were amended to accommodate a new Paid Time Off Leave System. A new Policy 8 and Policy 9 were created. Policy 12, Military Leave was amended to comply with an Attorney General Opinion and Policy 24, Longevity was amended to be consistent with City ordinance. These amended policies are applicable to non-represented employees.
Fiscal Note
Funds are currently budgeted for the Fiscal Year 2000-2001 in the individual departments of General Government and GRU.
Recommendation
The City Commission approve the revised Personnel Policies, effective October 1, 2000.
