explanation

At its meeting of February 5, 2009, the City Commission authorized the City Attorney to draft and the Clerk of the Commission to advertise an ordinance readopting Article IX, Chapter 2 of the City of Gainesville Code of Ordinances allowing the Living Wage Requirements to remain in effect.

This ordinance requires two hearings.  Should the City Commission pass this ordinance on first reading, second and final reading will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2009.
