Explanation
On November 3, 1999, the Recreation and Cultural Affairs Committee recommended the City Manager: 1) provide an investment scenario for private uses; 2) determine an acquisition amount; 3) apply to the National Historic Register; and 4) return to the committee at the next scheduled meeting.
Staff is currently reviewing an investment scenario for private use, discussed the option to purchase with the owner, and will not be able to apply to the National Historic Register since the neighborhood is already registered.
Recommendation
The Recreation and Cultural Affairs Committee hear a report from staff.
