Explanation

 Alachua County has approved, by resolution, the granting of a perpetual transportation easement to the City of Gainesville.  The easement is needed to provide bus transportation service to the new health department site on the west side of SE 24th Street.

Recommendation

The City Commission: 1) accept the donation from Alachua County for the perpetual transportation easement  located on SE 24th Street; and 2) authorize the City Manager or his designee to execute any and all documents or agreements necessary to accept the perpetual transportation easement subject to approval by the City Attorney as to form and legality.
