The City Commission adopt the proposed ordinance.

explanation

The City Commission at its meeting on July 10, 2006, authorized the City Attorney to draft and the Clerk of the Commission to advertise an ordinance extending the period of a warning for prohibited sounds from 90 days to 365 days.  This amendment was recommended by the Community Development Committee and the Public Safety Committee.

This ordinance requires two public hearings.  If the ordinance passes on first reading, second and final reading will be held on September 11, 2006.
