Review of the Proposed Alternative Recreational Fee Structure (B)

Explanation

On March 13, 2000, the City Commission accepted the recommendation of the Audit and Finance Committee regarding proposed changes to the recreational fee structure.  The Commission also requested that this proposal be reviewed by the Public Recreation Board.  On May 24, 2000, the Public Recreation Board recommended adoption of the proposal.  City Commission approval is needed for implementation.

Fiscal Note

Anticipated annual revenues to be generated by the implementation of this fee structure are estimated to be $24,566.

Recommendation

The City Commission authorize the City Manager to begin implementation of the fee structure on October 1, 2000.
