Nature Operations Infrastructure Report and Ring Park Update (B)
Explanation
At the June 12, 2000 City Commission meeting , City staff was asked to prepare a report for the City Commission discussing the life expectancy of infrastructure such as boardwalks located in Ring and other nature facilities. As a result, the Recreation and Parks Department, Nature Operations Division, contracted with Skinner and Associates, Inc. to prepare this report in conjunction with City staff discussing the current conditions, life expectancy and replacement costs of infrastructure located in Ring Park, Bivens Arm Nature Park, Morningside Nature Center and Gumroot Park.
In addition, City staff has been requested to give an update to the City Commission on exposed roots at Ring Park trails, trail mulching and pressure cleaning of the park area.

Recommendation
The City Commission hear a report from staff and take any appropriate action.
