Update on LED Mass Change-Out (B)

Explanation

On October 1, 2017, the City Commission adopted an ordinance requiring GRU to replace all halogen bulb streetlights with LED fixtures and bulbs, given that under ordinance GRU is responsibile for poles and pole attachments.  Since that time, GRU staff has worked with the Public Works department to develop the project and undertake implementation. 

At the request of the UAB, staff will provide details about the project and the current status.
