On October 24, 2005, the City Commission authorized the City Attorney to draft, and the Clerk of the Commission to advertise an ordinance amending Section 26-53 and Appendix A of the Gainesville Code of Ordinances to set a specific fee of $25.00 for booting a vehicle in which violators have three or more unpaid parking tickets.
