Explanation

The department is requesting a new position title in the upcoming 2000-2002 budget period, however the opening of the new clubhouse and resulting need for kitchen personnel is scheduled for August 2000. Short Order Cooks will be needed to prepare food and maintain the kitchen. Review of benchmark market data indicates CWA pay grade 3 ($14,522 to $19,054) is appropriate.

Fiscal Impact

Impact for the remainder of FY 2000 is estimated to be $1,800. Funding for the staffing of the new clubhouse was approved by the City Commission in June, 2000.
