Contract Award for Leasing Retail Space in the New City Parking Garage (B)
Explanation
The Community Redevelopment Agency requested that the City utilize the services of a retail property manager in leasing the 5,000 square feet of retail space available in the Southwest Downtown Parking Garage. Pursuant to authorization by the City Commission, staff sought proposals for retail property management services from one hundred fifty eight (158) potential vendors. Two (2) firms requested bid information and one (1) local firm, Nautilus Realty Inc., submitted a proposal. The selection committee reviewed the application and recommends accepting the proposal from Nautilus Realty, Inc.
Fiscal Note
Funding for this contract will be from the Public Works FY 05 Parking Garage operating budget.
Recommendation
The City Commission: 1) accept the proposal from Nautilus Realty, Inc.; 2) authorize the Interim City Manager to negotiate a contract and execute any related documents, subject to approval by the City Attorney as to form and legality.
