Title Acceptance of Sidewalk Easement from William R. and Teresa Scott Explanation The existing public sidewalk is partially on private property. This easement grants the right (and responsibility) for the City to maintain or reconstruct the existing sidewalk in its current location. Fiscal Note No fiscal impact. Recommendation The Commission: 1) authorize the City Manager to accept the sidewalk easement from William R. and Teresa Scott, subject to approval by the City Attorney as to form and legality, and 2) direct the Clerk of the Commission to record the easement in the public records of Alachua County.
