This item is a referral to the General Policy Committee to provide an update on the Post-FSAA Automatic Aid Agreement and to begin discussing fire services and the parameters for a cost analysis of fire stations in the urban cluster.

Explanation

At the June 7^th, 2018 City Commission meeting, the Commission received a presentation on automatic mutual aid for priority fire and emergency medical services calls.  The Commission provided direction to prepare an agreement for the Mayor’s signature and to begin a cost analysis for the City to provide fire services from County stations in the urban cluster.

The General Policy Committee: 1) hear an update from staff; and 2) provide direction to the City Manager for further action.
