Explanation

The purpose of this agenda item is to recap the City Commission’s seven (7) selected top priorities for the FY 2020 State Legislative Session; and of those priorities, focus on the two (2) priorities that specifically require further direction or dialogue as they relate to appropriations requests that have an upcoming deadline.

The General Policy Committee discuss the selected list of State Legislative items and provide further direction for the two legislative items requiring appropriations applications with our state legislative delegation and lobbying team for FY 2020.
