Explanation
This Agreement has been reached through negotiations between the Florida State Lodge, Fraternal Order of Police and the City of Gainesville and was ratified by the Florida State Lodge, Fraternal Order of Police bargaining unit on April 28, 2005. This Agreement extends the current collective bargaining agreement through September 30, 2007. A copy of the Agreement is on file with the Clerk of the Commission. After May 11, 2005, the Agreement will be on file in the Human Resources Department.
Fiscal Note
Funds are currently budgeted for the Fiscal Year 2004-2005. The costs for the Fiscal Years 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 will be addressed in the budget preparation process for those years.
Recommendations
The City Commission ratify the Agreement for the Florida State Lodge, Fraternal Order of Police extending the period of coverage through September 30, 2007, between the City of Gainesville and the Florida State Lodge, Fraternal Order of Police.
