Request by the 300 Club for the City to Initiate a Land Use Amendment and  Rezoning Petition (B)

Explanation

The City Commission has received a request from the 300 Club to initiate a petition for a land use amendment from Conservation to Planned Use District (PUD) and a zoning amendment from Conservation to Planned Development (PD) for the Club's property located at 3715 NW 12th Avenue.  Approval of the rezoning petition would transform the 300 Club from a non-conforming to a conforming use.  The 300 Club requests that the City Commission authorize City staff to initiate the petition in order that no fees will be charged to the Club.

Fiscal Note

The anticipated fees for the petition are $4,560.00.

Recommendation

The City Commission receive the request from the 300 Club and take action deemed appropriate.
