On August 12, 2008, the City was served with a Summons and Complaint. The Plaintiff alleges that personal property seized in July 2006 by GPD in a criminal investigation should be returned to her. The property consists of computer equipment seized from Plaintiff's then-husband who forfeited his interest in the property pursuant to a plea agreement to two counts of felony child abuse. Plaintiff is seeking the return of the personal property and/or money damages if the property was destroyed and attorney's fees.
