Title Loblolly Environmental Facility Renovations Explanation Renovations to the Loblolly Environmental Facility are in the work plan for the Recreation and Parks Department for FY 1999. Forty percent of the work to be performed includes building a handicapped ramp, 30% is for renovations of both bathrooms for ADA accessibility, and the remaining work is for repairing the porches and replacing windows. On May 26, 1999, Purchasing solicited bids from 24 prospective bidders. Six firms were represented at the pre-bid conference. Only one contractor, Darcco, Inc. submitted a bid for a total cost of $57,656. Fiscal Note Funds are available in the Greenspace Acquisition Fund account. Recommendation The City Commission approve the issuance of a purchase order in an amount not to exceed $57,656 to Darcco, Inc. for the renovation of Loblolly Environmental Facility.
