Wastewater Service to the City of Archer (NB)
Explanation
On September 20, 2006 the Regional Utilities Committee requested that the representatives from the City of Archer return to a future RUC meeting with more information including answers to the following questions: 1) a schedule of what capacity the City of Gainesville is being asked to provide and when; 2) provide more detail on land use issues; 3) explain the process Archer used for selecting the primary service area and the vision for that area; 4) provide a progress report on the joint planning agreement between Archer, the City of Gainesville and Alachua County; and 5) is this request consistent with the County's comprehensive plan as well as the County-wide visioning and planning process.
Recommendation
The Regional Utilities Committee hear a presentation by representatives from the City of Archer.
