Explanation
The City of Gainesville is a Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) certified local agent. This designation allows the City to enter into an agreement with FDOT and receive reimbursement in the amount of $128,510 for FY 2003, to undertake the maintenance and operation of lighting on the State Highway System. The Resolution is required by FDOT to confirm that the City Commission approved the signing of the State Highway Lighting, Maintenance, and Compensation Agreement.
Fiscal Note
The FDOT will reimburse the City of Gainesville annually through State of Florida revenue funds.
