The City Commission set dates to interview candidates for the General Manager for Utilities position.
Explanation
On August 27, 2007, the City Commission agreed to continue the selection process for the General Manager position with a target interview date set for December 2007. The Commission also agreed that the process would include public advertisement of the position in appropriate national publications. In September 2007, the City Commission approved the advertisement, including a salary range of $180,000-$225,000. Mycoff & Associates has advertised the position in Public Power Weekly and EnergyCentral.com. These ads will run through the third week of October. They also continue to recruit from their many contacts within the profession.
Mycoff & Associates will recommend a pool of candidates to be interviewed by the City Commission in December 2007.
