Explanation
On June 26, 2002, the State of Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services approved Urban and Community Forestry Grant Special Project Number G-030-F1SP-02 to reimburse the City for 50% (up to $100,000) of the allowable cost of mitigating damage to public properties resulting from the City's Southern Pine Beetle epidemic suppression efforts. Recommendation
The City Commission: 1) adopt a Resolution indicating its support of the grant application as submitted by staff; and 2) authorize the City Manager to execute the Urban and Community Forestry (U & CF) Grant Memorandum of Agreement.
