This item is to review the workplans submitted by each Advisory Board, a status of their 2006 accomplishments and budget requests for FY07 and FY08.

Explanation

The Advisory Boards of the City of Gainesville present their workplans to the City Commission for approval during each budget cycle, along with a request for funds.

Fiscal Note

An amount of $20,000 has been allocated in the proposed budgets for FY07 and FY08.  The City Manager's recommendation does not exceed the amount allocated.

Recommendation

The City Commission:  1) hear a presentation from Advisory Boards; and 2) approve the City Manager's recommendation for allocation of  $20,000 for Advisory Boards' funding for FY07-FY08.
