Explanation
Frank Williams, Assistant United States Attorney and Project Safe Childhood Coordinator for the Northern District of Florida, made a presentation titled, "Internet Safety: Protecting Children from Online Predators" to the City Commission on September 17, 2009.
At that time, the Commission referred this item to the Public Safety Committee to come up with ways for the City to help with the education on this issue to the citizens. One suggestion at the Commission meeting in September was to use Mr. Williams' presentation as a stand alone PSA on Channel 12. Another suggestion was to put a segment on GPD's television show Police Beat.
