Title Purchase of Tractor with Loader and Backhoe Explanation The City utilizes a backhoe to excavate gravesites at the cemetery. The current backhoe is 26 years old and is unreliable. This new equipment will serve as the replacement. On January 8, 1999, the Purchasing Division solicited bids from seventeen (17) vendors. Of the seven (7) who responded, five (5) of those were no bids. Treasure Coast Kubota was the lowest qualified bidder of the two remaining responding with a bid of $27,995.00. Fiscal Note Funds are available in the Fleet Replacement Fund for FY 98-99. Recommendation The City Commission approve the issuance of a purchase order to Treasure Coast Kubota in an amount not to exceed $27,995.00.
