Report on Golf Course Best Practices and Update on Golf Course Operations (NB)
This item is to provide an update on the Ironwood Golf Course Operations as well as hear a presentation on Best Practices that would enhance the appeal of the golf course to the golfing public.
Explanation
Staff was requested to research and report back to the Committee on what other golf courses were doing to encourage participation at their respective golf courses. In addition, Staff will provide the Committee with an update on the golf courses overall operations, including FY2007 1st Quarter Finance Results.
Recommendation
The Recreation, Cultural Affairs, and Public Works Committee hear a presentation and a report from the Director of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs and the Ironwood Golf Course Manager.
