explanation

At its meeting on July 15, 2002, the City Commission authorized the City Attorney to prepare and the Clerk to advertise an ordinance amending the duties of the Cultural Affairs Board.

On March 11, 2002, the City Commission approved Department of Cultural Affairs revisions to its Cultural Tourism Plan.  To implement the goals of the Plan, changes are made to the ordinance to reflect the duties and scope of services of the Cultural Affairs Board.
