explanation

The City Commission, at its meeting of January 13, 2003, authorized the City Attorney's Office to draft, and the Clerk of the Commission to advertise, an ordinance amending Chapter 9, Elections, Section 9-11 (b), of the Code of Ordinances.  

The Supervisor of Elections recommends an amendment to Chapter 9, Section 9-11(b), requiring political committees to file reports on contributions received and expenditures made in the same manner as political candidates.
