On April 8, 2003, a city election for the election of commissioners for At-Large Seat 1, At-Large Seat 2, District 4 and for the following two Charter Amendments was held.
The Reports of the Board of Canvassers for the City of Gainesville, showing that there will be a run-off election between Warren Nielsen and Betsy Whitaker for At-Large Seat 1; a run-off election between Rob Brinkman and Richard J. (Rick) Bryant for At-Large Seat 2 and that Craig Lowe has been elected to the District 4 Seat, are adopted by this resolution of the City Commission.
The Reports of the Board of Canvassers for the City of Gainesville, showing Charter Amendment 1 Number of Votes Needed to Adopt an Ordinance or Resolution passed and Charter Amendment 2 Relating to Gainesville's Wetlands failed, are adopted by this resolution of the City Commission.
