Request for an Extension to the License Agreement for Construction Staging (B)
Explanation
On November 28, 2000 the City entered into a license agreement with the Gainesville Commerce Center Limited Partnership to allow construction staging over a portion of Parcel 14714-1. The license agreement will expire on June 30, 2002 and the developer has asked for a one-year extension.
Eventually this property will be conveyed to Gainesville Commerce Center Limited Partnership for Phase III construction. The license agreement has a provision that all trees will be protected.
The CRA heard this request at their April 15, 2002 meeting and voted unanimously to move it forward to the City Commission.

CRA to the City Commission: 1) recommend the City Commission approve a one-year extension of the license agreement; and 2) authorize the City Manager to execute.
