Explanation

The 2017 Annual Audit Plan included an audit of Gainesville Regional Utilities’ Non-Pension Investments. Due to an open position within the City Auditor’s Office during most of fiscal year 2017, the audit was performed by an external firm, Experis Finance, using the Institute of Internal Auditors, International Professional Practices Framework (red book). 

Recommendation:

The City Auditor recommends that the City Commission accept the report.
