Explanation

Commissioner Melanie Wells, from the City of Archer, is stepping down from the board effective February 28, 2022. The Interlocal Agreement directs her replacement be someone from one of the other municipalities within Alachua County and should be appointed by a majority. On February 3, 2022 the board solicited letters of interest from representatives of outlying municipalities in Alachua County to fill the vacant member seat.

Recommendation:

The board discuss how the appointment be filled, and take appropriate action.
