Additional Reimbursement for Oversizing W/WW Facilities at Garison Way (NB)
Explanation
On January 10, 2005, the City Commission approved an oversizing reimbursement for Garrison Way, a 126 lot single family residential development for a not to exceed amount of $272,396.00. However, during a subsequent meeting with the Alachua County Public Works Department, the County requested the proposed 24" Force Main (FM) route be revised to reflect an alternative location rather than underneath a proposed county road.
The amended amount of $388,000.00 includes all construction labor and materials associated with the water and wastewater system oversizing.
Recommendations
The City Commission authorize additional reimbursement to the Developer of Garison Way, G.W. Robinson Builders, for the oversizing of the water, wastewater and reclaimed water facilities in an amount not to exceed $115,604.00 (new not to exceed amount of $388,000.00).

Monies for this project are available in the FY 05 Water and Wastewater Capital Improvements Budget.
