Explanation

On July 23, 2007 the City Commission referred this item to the RUC.    At the November 10, 2010 meeting the RUC agreed to recommend that this item be removed from the referral list.  This item was sent to the RUC to discuss in relation to the energy efficiency of rental units. It was discussed in the RUC and there was no action was taken. Since then, the Community Development Committee has had several referrals from the City Commission dealing with the energy efficiency of rental units and is investigating various programs and regulations.

Recommendation

The Regional Utilities Committee (RUC) recommends that the City Commission remove this item from the referral list.
