Explanation

The applicant for the proposed development of regional impact (DRI) known as Greenways of Gainesville requested a workshop with the City Commission to discuss issues related to the development of this property.  The DRI includes 930 acres more or less, located generally south of the intersection of Northwest 43rd Street and US Highway 441.  The proposed DRI is a mixed-use development that may include commercial, office, residential, business research, recreation and institutional uses.
