Title Purchase Order to Gordon's Painting & Janitorial Service Explanation Painting of the Gainesville Police Facility was in the approved work plan and budget for the Facilities Management Department for FY 1999. Purchasing advertised the project and five firms were represented at the pre-bid conference. Four painting contractors submitted bids with Gordon's Painting & Janitorial Services submitting the lowest bid at $39,500. We are requesting a 10% contingency of $3,950 which will bring the total purchase order up to $43,450. Fiscal Note Funds are available in Facilities Management Department for fiscal year 1998-99. Recommendation The City Commission approve the issuance of a Purchase Order in an amount not to exceed $43,450 for the painting of the Gainesville Police Department Facility.
