RTS Program of Projects (POP) FY2001 and Performance Measures FY 1998 and FY 1999 (B)

Explanation

The Regional Transit System (RTS) is required to submit a Program of Projects to the Federal Transit Administration each year.  The budget application for Capital and Operating projects is required to be submitted for public comment.  Performance Measures for FY 1998 and FY 1999 will also be presented as published in the Gainesville Sun.

Fiscal Note

The costs for the Program of Projects are included in the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) approved by the MTPO.

Recommendation

The City Commission: 1) hear a presentation by staff;  2) approve the Program of Projects for FY 2001; 3) approve the resolution authorizing the filing of an application with the Department of Transportation; and 4) authorize the Mayor and Clerk of the Commission to execute the Resolution, subject to approval by the City Attorney as to form and legality.
